Anyone make the trip in 'Sept 2005 to Arizona when game was moved from Tiger Stadium because of Katrina?
I did. I got a last minute flight out of BR to Phoenix for about $250 round trip. Only drawback is that I had to fly through Detroit to get there and the layover was longggggggggg. I didn't know they were going at the time, but I had the middle seat between 2 LSU fans that I know. We were not the only LSU fans on that flight.
Yes. Detroit.

About two hour difference in flight because of head winds. I lived in Seattle for a little more than 2 years and had to fly back home a lot.
Alaska Airlines started offering NS service last month to MSY and Tampa from Sea-Tac. The MSY-SEA leg leaves MSY at 5:55 pm, arrives SEA at 8:00 pm

To the OP:
Morgantown, WV in 2011, caught the Pirates game the night before; there were plenty Purple & Golders there too.

Seattle and Orlando in one season

I flew to Los Angeles from Augusta, Georgia in 1984 for the USC game.
I drove to Bloomington, Indiana from BR in 1978 and to Boulder, Colorado from BR in 1979.
Also went to Notre Dame in 1998, Tucson in 2003 and to Phoenix in 2005 while living in Georgia.
I plan to go to Lambeau in 2016 and perhaps Syracuse next season.

Pearl Harbor, HI to Baton Rouge.
Flight to LAX ... picked up vehicle ... drove the rest of the way.
Seem to recall arriving at TS about 10AM for a 7 PM kick-off.

Not an LSU game but I've driven to South Bend to watch ND/Michigan and I was wearing LSU apparel.

Birmingham to Seattle or Baghdad to Baton Rouge, but that was mid tour leave, not a planned trip just for LSU football.

I would have been impressed if you'd gotten that special request chit approved.
Farthest that I've watched LSU games ... Baghdad and Doha, Qatar.
AFN loves LSU...at least they did in 2007-2008.
