So there you go, had the defender been looking up for a poorly flipped ball, he would have been there. He is obviously closer than ware to the ball as the ball went over his head...exactly like I saw it.

For me it's the hypocrisy. The people in this thread complaining that he should have taken the sack are the same people who would have complained had he just taken the sack.

I'd prefer him taking the sack, but he tried to make a play and the execution fell short. Everything worked out. We didn't take the sack and lose the yards, and it wasn't picked off.

Wow.

It showed exactly what I said happened. And you said I was making shite up. The ball missed ware by a couple of inches. It was a bad pitch but not a bad decision.

The biggest thing for me was that he was trying to do too much. Quarterbacks aren't generally very accurate throwing the ball while being brought to the ground.

Maybe these idiots think the Ref was gonna int the ball... cause he was the ONLY one that had a chance.

That's not true.. The pic showing the defender like 10 yards away also has the ball still traveling upward. This means it still hasn't reached the top of it's arc. Which means it still has if it went well over ware's head..) 6-9 more feet left to travel in the upward direction.. and 4-5 feet to travel across the field.

Taking all this into account... the defender could have made a play on the ball, and almost did.

Jesus just walk away from this. The ball fell harmlessly to the ground. It was a poorly thrown pitch but not as bad a decision as yall are trying to make it out to be. Remember, we blew out the #3 team in the nation.

Can someone tell me why the defender didn't intercept the ball? Go ahead say it. Say why he didn't! I will save you the breath. He couldn't. It was out of his reach. And THIS is reason to think JJ made an absolutely horrible decision??? He could not intercept the pass and it was only past Ware's hands by 1 foot. Geez

Nothing . . . and I mean nothing . . . that Jefferson can do will ever satisfy some of the fans here. And the slightest mistake on his part will be magnified by them. Too bad. The guy played a very solid game today and should be congratulated.

And fwiw he had a lot more support before he brought all the negative attentio to the team.

Quit professing this erroneous information!!!

JJ broke curfew, in line with a team tradition, along with over 1/2 of the other team members, including some other QBs. He was FALSELY identified as being a participant in a fight and also for kicking a reserve marine in the face. The BRPD failing to do their job properly brought negative attention to the team. They never came up with who actually was involved in all this, except for the guys who started the fight, got beat up and pressed charges. JJ has all but been absolved of any wrong doing in this incident by the vote of the Grand Jury. When are all the judgmental so-called fans going to realize and accept this and let it go?

Maybe we should put you on the field in front of 93,000+ screaming fans and see what you would do. Our team is 12 - 0 with a chance to go 14- 0, try showing some support.

I stood up and screamed "DONT BOO YOUR OWN TEAM"

That was a terrible play on his part though. Still, our team needed us!

He came back and turned em into cheers though. Dude does it every time.

If you boo'ed the greatest team in LSU history (so far) you are absolute scum. While your fat, stupid, lazy arse was drinking beer, those athletes were working their asses off in August.

I hope they have security cameras and can identify the culprits and pull the season tickets for the sewer dwellers who occupy those seats.

I hope a tornado overturns your trailer and sends you to oblivion. There is absolutely no excuse for your miserable existence.

Rot in hell loser.

And this coach would have pulled his other QB after a critical interception like that. In fact, he already did.

He still has a pending misdemeanor charge against him. I'm going to guess you won't be selected to the jury pool. Better to just let that one lay until after the season is over wouldn't you say?
