LSU didn’t make this investment for this. They didn’t go all in to lose to Kentucky. This is an unmitigated disaster, everyone involved deserves any hate they get

Pump the brakes. It was a terrible way to lose but to say the staff is a disaster is overreacting.

You need to stop watching LSU football for your own health.

I can't agree with OP, but I will say this.

LSU can still make the playoffs at 2 losses. Of course, to do that, they will have to accomplish the highly improbable feat of winning out, but I have to believe that the committee would look at a 2 loss LSU with a hot streak that includes November wins against Alabama and Texas and very likely let them into the playoff.

Three losses, though, and it looks a lot less likely.

But more jarring to me is that to me, Kfff has not looked from day one like he is having fun. He's always been a bit awkward, but he's never struck me as looking like he's comfortable here. I hope that changes.

You're going way overboard over a 1 point loss on the road. With that said, there is plenty of criticism to be shared over what happened last night.

Idk man, the fact it was a winnable game is part of it.

Second time this season. Both losses against first time head coaches, and we have excuses… which is sad but not shocking.

I've noticed that too. I wonder if it's a bigger rebuilding job than he expected or if there's drama behind the scenes we're not aware of. At any rate the team was.not.prepared in either the Ole Miss or Kentucky games. I don't expect a complete turnaround in the first year but I do expect a coherent gameplan and players executing to the best of their ability.

A team that loses to Kentucky and Ole Miss will go undefeated against Alabama, Texas, Tennessee and Miss St.? Y’all are delusional

I disagree with this. Let this coaching staff recruit and build then judge them. Lane warned everyone when he was hired this wouldn't be fixed overnight.

He’s not having fun because his offense is predicated on being able to consistently run the ball. This offensive line has too many holes. Coupled with the QB he chased over the country to sign here has been underwhelming. Next season we will have experienced at skill positions but the OLine will be once again a bit question to answer

You clearly didn't read what I wrote. Try again...like you should have done when you failed reading comprehension in grade school.

Look, I was livid last night, and I'm still a bit pissed, but let's not get the torches and pitchforks out in week 6 of his first year. It took him time at Ole Miss. It will take him time here. But what I want to see moving forward is a more disciplined team that does not commit countless unforced errors and a focus on preparation every week regardless of the opponent. If they do that and lose I can live with it in his first year.
