The floor to me is ten wins. The ceiling is sky high. Yes, I'm usually positive. But what I see is a team coming together with every question answered by the staff.

We needed a kicker after last year...got one of the best.

We needed depth on both lines...we have that now.

We needed depth at db, now we have an experienced transfer...and we just might have Fulton available as well.

Last but not least, we needed a QB. Got the best transfer available.

It's coming together nicely. It's going to be a great year. The team's many doubters will be silent after the season. Our opponents who expect victory against LSU will taste defeat instead.

And all true LSU fans will rejoice. O isn't going anywhere.

Deal with it.

I'm a tiger first and foremost. I'll pull for whoever is at the helm till it's obvious that it's time to move on. Our D is gonna be wicked stout. If we can get some young wr's to develop quickly and Burrow can give us a "matt Flynn/mauck" type year, we should be in every game. Just ready for fall camp and Da U.

Miami will be a test.

They will open favored.
Probably open LSU + 2.5 and be bet down to even by game time.

So, you're going with the potential will come through at every position. I can respect that. I hope you're right.

Ahhh..."time to move on"...i.e. when it can be afforded after a loss to a Sun Belt team for homecoming.

Right.. trying to think of my favorite part of that game. Brossette fumbling the opening carry or the Troy player standing on the bench flipping off the fans on homecoming.

I don't know how many wins we're gonna have but I think we will be damn competitive in all of our games. I am so glad to be moved on from the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense that was not only predictable but boring as hell. and all of the teams with good front 7's stymied our offense.

for the first time in a number of years I think we will have an OL instructed on how to pass block, quality wide receivers and a QB that can get them the ball. all of this and a damn good defense.

I think the season will at last be ENTERTAINING. I really doubt we'll win the conference but I see LSU on the upswing and being a contender.

That's great, truly.

Just please, please no excuses whatever happens. Can we agree on that?

No "well he would've done better if not for what Miles did" or "SEC hates LSU" or the "refs screwed us." Please, just hold him responsible for whatever happens.

I think it's fair to see with Les still and Cam still here we would not have had a shot at Burrow.
With all the sour grapes thrown at O and Ensminger one has to ask themselves if they were that hollow why would Burrow have come here? Obviously, he saw something he liked a lot.

It's not only fair to say that IMO, but I would take it further and say it's unquestionably the truth.

Agreed. If the floor isn't 10 wins then hiring O was a disaster.
