Perfect spot for that f___ing libtard!
So, the Jindal cronie who is unanimously hated by the presumably liberal faculty of LSU is himself a "libtard". Interesting!

That university is exactly where someone of his ilk should be. He'd fit right in.

You have to learn the difference between a Democrat and Republican, and a progressive. The "establishment" is nothing but progressives who are either moderate are extreme. Jindal ran as a Republican, but he's a progressive, and their kind sticks together.
"Liberal" is just not the right word to describe these people anymore.
Edit- the downvotes prove how ignorant people are of modern politics. They think it matters if someone's name has an "R" or a "D" next to it. Politicians seek power, and power corrupts. Those who seek office out of genuine concern and willingness to fight for the people, are not politicians. If you don't know the difference between an establishment "Republican" and a true patriot like Trump, or Mark Meadows, Ron Desantis, etc, then you have no business commenting on politics.

What exactly is his crowning achievement during his time at LSU? While I don't blame him for the state's budget woes, has he elevated our STEM programs? is fundraising at an all time high? we're less diverse than ever still enrolling majority Louisiana kids, not the top ones either. Isn't in well known Woodward wants to be the chancellor? If anyone can convince the state to properly equip LSU with a budget to compete with its peers, it's Woodward. However I would think he'd enjoy being AD for a few years first.
Actually fundraising is at an all time high with the new campaign

Well the Cal System has Berkeley and UCLA and 6 other campuses that are R1 Universities. There are only like 130 R1 Universities in the USA, in Louisiana LSU and Tulane are both R1. So in terms of career, it is a more prominent position. Now, I am not sure King will get the job because one of the criticisms when he was hired in 2013 for the LSU position was that he was never tenured as a Professor at an R1 University. He worked for Cal-State as President and was President at Murray State in Kentucky, following his Father who was president (hmmm?).
King was sort of in trouble the moment JBE took over, believe it or not. In November of 2015, Jindal and King over rode Alleva with the Miles thing. Now, as people got more and more fed up with Alleva, King would not fire him. It was now former LSU BOS Richard Lipsey that pushed for Alleva to get out and he got the support of JBE to do so.
Now, I don't know the exact facts but some rumors before the election were that Lipsey would not publicly go against JBE in the election in exchange for JBE backing a removal of King. Now that the election is over, what I had heard is now coming true. In addition, the holistic admissions that King put in had a cap on how many would get in under said admissions. I think they went over what was agreed with the BOS. So there is also some academic concerns as well.
Regardless of what happens with CAL, King is on his way out one way or the other.

Is LSU ready for Jay Dardenne?

Funny you say that. That name has been bantered around. Politically would be a smart move by JBE to push for him. He is a Republican former LT Governor and can show a willingness when it comes to LSU to be bipartisan.

That’s a F’King good thing !!

Only thread I've ever clicked on that was 3 pages deep and didn't have a single downvote on the OP. That's telling.

I’m going to respectfully request that anytime he is brought up that his name should be entered as “f__king (LSU)”

Some Ranters wanted him out because he hired O, LOL. LSU should try to keep him more than trying to keep Joe Brady.
F that nonsense.
That F’king degenerate might have cost us a natty in MBB and most definitely cost us a chance at one, all because he panicked and didn’t want to offend anyone.
The venom directed at Alleva during the Vandy game should have been directed at F’king A.
Best season since what, 2006? And this dipshit suspends the coach for the SECT and NCAAT because of unsubstantiated media reports.
Everyone with an iota of intelligence could see how that situation was going to unfold from day one. The only people who couldn’t were FKA, JA and the anti-Wade lynch mob on this forum.
