Reply to my post above. Ok, for those of you simple minds who can't handle a post that challenges you to think because you are still upset that Rispone lost. Here are the facts
1) It was not until Summer of 2018 that JBE appointees became the majority of the LSU Board of Supervisors.
2) As was reportd by the Morning Advocate on June 5, 2018, the moment Jindal's appointees had majority control, the LSU President and Chancellor and other top administrators left LSU
3) Jindal's appointees took control in September of 2012 as reported by Shreveport KSLA

4) King Alexander was hired in 2013. Given his weak academic record, I think it is probable that a weak LSU President, even though his politics maybe were not aligned with Jindal, would not be someone that would challenge the Governor.
5) By 2015, 15 of the 16 LSU BOS were individuals who had donated money to Jindal
6) I am not saying JBE or other governors have not done the same thing, but Jindal appointed some 317 and he was very diligent in appointing campaign contributors to the Higher education boards.
LINK
7) NOLA.com 22 November 2013 article indicating that almost all of the LSU BOS contained members who were political donors to Jindal. I have read it eventually got to 15 out of 16.

So vote down all you want. A JBE controlled board backing a LSU System president from a different political party, assuming the Dardenne rumors are true would indeed show political bipartisanship. Rational people understand this.
