Isn’t the University of California a really long way from Long Beach?

That would be like me getting a job offer in Virginia and saying I really like the weather in Jacksonville.

Some Ranters wanted him out because he hired O, LOL. LSU should try to keep him more than trying to keep Joe Brady. O course some Ranters know nothing besides football and that is questionable too based who they wanted to be the football HC, LOL.

What exactly is his crowning achievement during his time at LSU?

While I don't blame him for the state's budget woes, has he elevated our STEM programs? is fundraising at an all time high? we're less diverse than ever still enrolling majority Louisiana kids, not the top ones either.

Isn't in well known Woodward wants to be the chancellor? If anyone can convince the state to properly equip LSU with a budget to compete with its peers, it's Woodward. However I would think he'd enjoy being AD for a few years first.

F King has never been a big believer in the facts... and for those wondering, this is a job he will take if offered.

Well, it's a great job to be honest. I'm curious what exactly they see in Alexander besides maybe managing a budget crisis? I can't think of one thing during his 6 years here that really helped bolster LSU's reputation. I know lots of good families that sent their kids to rival universities because of his boo-hooing

Those are legitimate points but I remember the reason people on this board didn't want him and Alleva was because he hired coach O instead of Herman or Fisher.

Scott Woodward quietly getting things done. I am sure Will Wade would be first to help move F. Kings stuff out his house.

There are 10 University of California schools. Several of them are around LA and Longbeach.
