Well if Alleva wanted to fire miles in 2013 somebody at the university must have wanted him to stay. If it was king Alexander than he deserves to get what's coming.

But not hold your cities in that same category?!? Wasn’t Portland one of the cities where the govt allowed protesters to trash the city and encouraged it?

On another note.... Peace out FKA!!!

there’s no such thing. It’s just the new made up catch phrase of the Left of something vague to accuse someone who isn’t overtly racist.

Don’t fall for it.

F. King intervened for Les b/c Gov. Jindal wanted to keep Les. F. King was not even interested in LSU athletics.

Y'all are trying way too hard to be contrarian here.

You aren't going to find too many people (if any at all) who were happy with F King Alexander and his tenure at LSU. At least those who followed the series of events of his time here.

Sure, maybe if you're just a kid and weren't old enough to follow along or if you just came out of a coma and wonder what all the fuss is about. Or from under a rock.

Funny you should mention the political angle because that is exactly why I hated him. When John Bel was using his "LSU is going bankrupt, we may not have football" bullshite - there was F King Alexander right there with him. Like a little dog at the governor's feet.

Y'all are taking it the wrong way, I think he's just pointing out the hypocrisy of his limousine liberal status.

Shhhhh.... people who think they earned everything because they worked hard even though everyone (except an extremely small minority) also works their “arse off,” are the same unintelligent people who are incapable of thinking critically or removing their racist bias, and therefore have no compassion for their common man. They use politics of fear and hate to drive and confirm their bias every night on Fox News.

So yes the responses prove they can’t comprehend what they read or think critically for themselves. Ignorance is rampant. Mental illness is affecting many. Hate is evil.

I never quite understood why everyone hates him so much....are there sctual reasons or is it just the mob mentality like it is with coaches and athletic directors?

While he was at LSU

-Academic standing plummeted

-Funding dropped significantly

-Had zero support from staff and faculty when hired and throughout his tenure.

- A SJW who made numerous statements that damaged the credibility of the university.

-The Les Miles debacle and his support of Joe Alleva.

I could go on, lots of complaints about King regarding his arrogance and incompetence.

He was in over his head, was a yes man under Jindal (this is why he was hired) and continued to holdover with new administration because he would take the budget cuts laying down.

That program destroyed itself many, many years ago. Perpetual cellar dwellers in all sports except baseball.

With very few exceptions, I doubt that F King Alexander had any material effect on anyone here. So, it is a "twitter mob" type of action here. Publicly hating on someone who doesn't have any material effect on your life is ridiculous.

I loved the 15-0 season and didn't like last year's end results. But, I'm not going to hate on anyone over it because it doesn't have an effect on me.

I am a hypocrite, however, since I will hate on Alabama.

Pretty certain under his tenure lsu slipped in college academic rankings.

Plummeted is the better way to put it. Which was a direct result of his "diversity" initiatives, which were basically just lowering admission standards. He prioritized bringing in the least white class instead of the best and brightest and it set LSU back massively. frick him!
