Because we have the luxury of having 2 aces and playing matchups. LR is worse against rightys, and DBU is worse against leftys. Pretty simple.

I guess.
Only thing I’m hoping for is that we get a bunch of runs on the board early and we pitch Eyanson 2 -3 innings only and maybe use him to close in a possible 4th game or something.

disagreeing with but coach now = thinking for yourself I get the pitching off strategy and actually agree but unlike you I guess I’ve never coached or won a CWS so I’m not gonna worry about it unless/until it causes a problem.
