Expect a performance like what we saw against Georgia.

Against A&M.

This is the most LSU has had on the line in years. Period.

Let's beat arse.

Well considering we haven’t been in a major bowl since Jan 2012 I’d say the A&M game is big. But who am i

It’s a big game for both programs, much bigger for LSU this particular year given the circumstances.

It feels like a very pivotal game.

Yup.

I hope our guys got a confidence boost tonight and we come out swinging next weekend. I know we're going to get A&M's best shot. I hate when we play teams who are in a spoiler position.

This game is huge for Coach O also. I think he wins this game and this will shut up not only the national critics but everyone on this board that doubted him being hired. One thing I like about ed is he tells it like it is. If the oline sucked he says they sucked. He wins this game and gets us to a NY6 BOWL and in the off season picks up a good offensive coordinator. we are set for years to come. Imho

Honestly....I don't know what to expect....anything that we did against Rice can't necessarily be counted on....if we can throw the ball, we have a good chance...if, not....we may be in trouble....

We're going to have to throw the ball, or get some long ground and pound drives and control the clock. We're not going to run all over this aggy D this year. They are stout upfront and we are struggling in the run game.

If we can't keep them even a little honest on the pass, this will be a long night for us.

The offense we opened up the game with, and what we did early in the season... is how we are most successful. Short quick timing routes that get the ball in our playmakers hands. We finally utilized the middle of the field like we haven’t done in a Damn decade

Agree. I’m not a coach O guy, but if he can win this game, the bowl game and make a good offensive hire, I’ll start to believe he can do great things here. I believe making a good hire is the most important of those but winning out would carry a lot of good momentum into the offseason. I’m also of the belief that if we somehow backdoor our way into the playoff, even a loss there would be better for our program than beating somebody like UCF in a bowl game. We’d be perceived as one of the elite four instead of one of the better teams in the next tier. Gotta get past Aggie first though.

Like was said above, the passing game has to set things up for us. This is good and bad in that the WR must catch catchable balls!!! If we drop passes to put us in long down situations we are in trouble. If WR can catch the ball, Burrow will be the difference in the run game. He may not break a 50 yard run, but he can eat up 4-7 yards with a power run game and create some frustration for their D.

If we execute what is available, we will win by more than most can imagine. If we keep dropping passes, it will be a long day.

Changing offensive coordinators at this point would be a huge mistake. 3 in three years. Put in a new offense in the spring. Very bad idea. Hoping we pick up Sean Salisbury as a QB coach. Maybe play caller.

South Texas/Louisiana is a fertile recruiting hotbed. Jumbo is trying to dominate it now.
This is a bigger game than many realize

Lol. Yeah, hope he gets it right this time. It’s only his third shot to do so.

Has worked out just fine for Bama. Also happens in the NFL all the time.

Sometimes it takes going through a few to find the sweet spot hire.

This - right on point. Preseason everybody predicted 6-7 wins. Yet at worse, we pulled off a 9 - 3 regular season. And right now, we are at #7.
Focus on that thought instead of the AL beat down which popped the unreasonable bubble that we were a national championship team.
Plenty to look forward to in the future. Current momentum leading to great early signing class and hopefully, a bowl win.
Need new OC. Grow a pair and hire Briles. Time for Steve to shift responsibilities and Sullivan to go back into retirement. And isn't Pete's gig up?
Couple great hires and while we may not necessarily jump AL overnight, we can be Top 10 Elite.
