It’s common for players who don’t care about their team and only their bank accounts

Yea well the team doesn’t care about them either and can cut you on a whim and 99.99% of the time teammates support hold outs

1. Not selling their ticket allotment.
2. Travel expenses for team, band and LSU officials.
3. Lodging expenses for team, band and LSU officials.
4. Paying for "complimentary" tickets for player families, band, etc.

Most bowl games aren't a profit for participating schools.

This will be the next step in the progression of things. Players will sit out half the season once there is no chance for the CFP or even a good bowl game.

Greedy stands a greater chance of getting injured at Sonic than in the Playstation Bowl. Will he never take his daughter to Sonic?

I agree. Hell I'm an advocate for paying college players but my opinion on how to do it is not popular.

I say pay them but at the same time deduct from their paycheck for tuition, housing and food.

his agent and Jaguar staff let out that the injury was not an actual injury and there was no concern over selecting him that high

you do realize the NFL draft was on April 26th, almost 5 months after the season had ended.

You are not a smart man.

You do realize that high ankle sprains are a very tough injury to recover fully from and tend to linger and have a high probability of becoming reinjured.

We didn't want to waste a high round pick on an injury prone player. Look at ODB, Ricky Williams, Darren McFadden etc.

After these guys get high ankle sprains, they never return to peak form (maybe 90% capability) and are playing with a glass ankle from that point onward.

Universities paying them would be a disaster. Just let them make money off their own likeness. People make millions off social media now a days, these guys all have 10s of thousands of followers, let them get paid to post some ads or something.

I know it's expensive to charter a jet and fly a couple of hundred people to Phoenix, lodge them, feed them and entertain them for a week, but does that cost $4 million?

If the traveling party is 400, spending $10,000 per head is a breakeven proposition.

Will your book contribute part of the $20MM that he'll lose if he blows out a knee in the bowl? Probably not...
