all the will wade hate is simple.

He's doing at LSU what EVERY single big time basketball program coach does but because we aren't a blue blood, it's "unacceptable"

The righteous indignation and pearl clutching is beyond hypocritical.

Once you get past that, there's nothing to hate on him for. He's a great coach that demands excellence from his players and isn't fake.

If he were at Duke the media would be sucking his dick just like they do for Coach K despite him being equally if not MORE slimey.

This!!! Someone re-played that audio of Vitale on Cullota's show a couple of years back recently and his rationalizations and dismissiveness of Duke's (and several other school's) IMHO more egregious actions was pathetic. It feeds the national narrative that all others have followed. He keeps citing "proof" as the difference as if there is none in any of the other cases when in fact if the standard of proof were applied in reality to many of the relative cases there is more of it for the Duke's and Kansas's and others in my view.

One example - Cullotta mentioned texts from Self at Kansas that were more detailed and specific than anything WW said on "the tape" and Dick dismissed that as not proof of anything - just summarily dismissed it.

And let's not forget this, his players rarely, if ever, get in trouble. Unlike other major sports at LSU.

Yep, Dick says there's no proof but there's a paper trail detailing the Zion stuff that is more damning than anything on that tape Dick is so appalled about. I just think his standard of proof is contingent upon the convenience of his loyalties. And he can blather on about if they bring me the proof I'll say the same thing about them.....only there is proof On K...Self and on and no- he just dismisses it or compartmentalizes it to rationalize in his own mind it isn't.
