Explosive plays are there to be had, our qb is just not making them. I can only imagine how often plays like this show up on the all-22.

he had plenty of time, but he tucks it to run before the receivers even make it out of their breaks. Unreal and pathetic

We don’t have to keep beating this dead horse. JD is a bad quarterback. Period. Yes fast. That’s it

No, man, don't trust your eyes. The Rant said it's all on the WRs.

After 6 games of missing these type of plays, it’s time for a change.

I understand the thought of protecting the ball and not losing by throwing int. But by doing so repeatedly, you’re not sustaining drives and not getting in the endzone, which is losing you games.

It’s time to grow a sack or put the gunslinger in.

Make the change.

LSU QBs per attempt over the last 20 years. * Daniels and Brennan only faced 3 SEC teams, the other QBs had at least a season of starts.

Daniels - 6.9
Johnson- 7.4
Brennan- 8.5
Burrow- 9.5
Etling- 8.4
Harris- 7.9
Jennings- 7.0
Mettenberger- 8.8
Jefferson- 7.0
Lee- 7.0
Flynn- 7.1
Russell- 8.3
Randall- 7.4
Mauck- 7.2
Davey- 9.2

Even though he plays in a wide open spread system he’s dead last among LSU QBs over the past 20 years.

Probably doesnt help that our WRs are making their breaks 30 yards down field.

He had a post route for a TD. He had protection to throw it. How are you blaming the route?

So they are calling the right plays, he just can’t read the defense and will not pull the trigger. That is what frustrates me as a fan, every thing has to be perfect for our QB. The OL and WR have shouldered blame, and rightfully so, but we will win very few games with this quality of play at QB. As a fan watching no improvement being made and seeing Nussmeier having little chance of getting meaningful snaps, it’s frustrating.

Was that not the most pathetic pandering ever from a coach?

This is why it’s tough to respect his “process”. Jesus Brian.

I was at the game real time, and saw plenty of WRs open, with time to spare.

JD is just God awful at reading a defense and wants to run, regardless of what he says.

I was excited about the BK hire, but if this turns into Les Miles 2.0, I might as well find something else to do.
