LSP, and the trooper that solicited and coerced the false written statements, violated Kyren Lacey's 4th amendment civil rights. His mother should file a federal lawsuit under 42 U.S. Code § 1983 for Malicious Prosecution Under Color of Law. That trooper does NOT deserve Qualified Immunity.

The DA only concluded Lacy didn’t flee the scene so he wouldn’t have faced that charge. He didn’t flee because he couldn’t have known what his responsibility was in this accident however minor. The unfortunate thing is the old man in the gold truck was being so ultra cautious in a situation where the average driver likely wouldn’t have even reacted much. But he did react and by his own admission he was reacting due to Lacy. The girl behind him should have the most blame because she didn’t maintain control.

So Lacy did technically set off the chain of events that led to the accident. It was just a very unfortunate set of circumstances that the other two drivers reacted the way they did. The DA still would have presented these facts to the GJ and let them decide. If passing was allowed there this likely would have been dropped completely. But an old man driver reacted somewhat unreasonably to Lacy’s actions which also happened to be against the law. Really sad.

This is an Absolute and Total Tragedy.

Well that was a pretty damning report on the DA,and officer that took the report, why would he TELL the driver of the truck to say he slammed on the brakes, why did he even suggest this? And the driver of the truck refused to sign the report, because he knew what was right.

Nobody knew it was Lacy driving the charger at the time of the wreck, as the truck driver said the girl tailgating him caused the wreck

Sounds like the DA's office and the trooper need to lawyer up trooper might loose his job, DA aint going now where until next election hopefully people guilted Lacy to kill himself,
