It sucks there is zero accountability

No Conference should be the authority on replay. Each Conference has replay capacity - rotate week to week by Conference

There’s no accountability. “Call to Birmingham” is a great way for the conference to control the outcome of games. Amazing how it’s our own conference doing this shite against an ACC team on the road.
With the additions of Texas and OU Birmingham really isn’t the center anymore. Memphis would probably make more sense. It’s close to OM, but you’re still well over an hour away. Memphis is a little more of a mixed town when it comes to SEC allegiance.

The thing is to overturn the call it had to be conclusive video evidence. That’s what makes it so crazy.

It’s way way way past time to go to non conference affiliated full time refs.
That crew is headed by this mfer Geautreaux (sic) he fricked us in a game last year and people commented on how it’s weird that a coonass ref keeps fricking us, then is was revealed by his neighbors and people who know him from Lafayette came on to say he hates LSU as a big ULL guy. Hell the head of officials was admittedly a former REC member and mr football at Tuscaloosa and I know but couldn’t prove it he was a student volunteer with the football team.
This shite needs to stop and we need to raise hell about it when we win so we don’t look like sore losers.

Why did the ref mark him out at the 1/2 yard line?
Posted on 9/2/25 at 4:59 am to TutHillTiger
Even Clemson fans think it was a TD
Posted on 9/2/25 at 5:46 am to TutHillTiger
I'm still pissed about it. That would have been a 14 point lead and likely get them to go for a 4th down in their own territory that would have led to another score. The team and Brown deserved that TD.

Ineptitude after ineptitude that's why. If he did mark him out at the 1/2 yard line why the hell isn't it a catch? Because he ended up in the endzone where the officials had undisputable visual evidence that he didn't make a catch. Unbelievable

Early on I was pissed we got Herbie as he has a Clemson bias
How the frick does he have Clemson?
To hear our fans tell it , everyone has bias against LSU.
Herbie does a good job. Always has IMO.

Well this is pretty much the explanation.

I wonder what the SEC excuse will be this week???!
What is worse is the fact that you will still have fans that believe whatever lie they put out there. They are going to gaslight the frick out of you.
Remember, this is the same conference that justified Devon White's suspension for pushing the MSU QB with two arms as targeting....
Yet a few years later Dallas Turner launches/targets/concusses Jayden Daniels during a Heisman season and they did nothing. BTW, I will remind you again the same ref crew that allowed that cheap shot on Daniels wrecking his brain was also the same crew from Saturday.
Frick this sorry arse conference and its leadership.

Correct. It was not a TD.
Change the rule.

I thought the original review was based on whether or not the ball crossed the goal-line.
Officials on the field ruled it a legitimate catch.
Wonder what the 'challenge' was? = who called for it??
= was it LSU asking 'why not a TD?'
or
= was it Clemson asking 'was it a catch?'

I’m more pissed off about the targeting no call than this one. You’ll never convince me that Satan and his staff didn’t suggest to their group of mental midgets that someone needed to take JD5 out of the game. In two years, he had no answer for him.

The correct term is “clear and indisputable” and clearly it is being disputed
But obviously I agree with you. And the fact that had already set a precedent on this in the same game made it that much worse.
This rule has been horrible since it was introduced in the NFL. It puts way too much discretion on the referees, coupled with replay review, they actually forget their role, and the call on the field that they made is presumed correct.
The standard for making a catch shouldn’t be as hard as they can make it, only after making a call live. Either rely on the officials on the field or the booth. Merging the two can make the refs seem less credible.

His kids went there. Doesn’t mean he really has bias, but it’s note disclosure in fair reporting
