Our record and being SEC Western Division Champs prove your "fact" wrong. Daniel's is a good QB. Not a great one.
Didn’t Brandon Harris take LSU to a 9-3 record one year? Only difference the rest of the SEC wasn’t having a shite year. Guess what Harris sucked too.

He can play well enough to win the west and play for the SEC title.

When has the West ever had a 3 loss champ?

Just because the West was down, doesnt mean JD elevated LSU

You have to go back 20 years to when Arky won the West with 3 losses. And its 21 years since LSU did it last, under Nick Saban

He’s an enigma

He’s both a big reason for some wins and also a big reason for some losses

I think it is abundantly clear that he does not feel confident throwing the ball

How about 2 sec losses? Because that’s what matters.

That’s happened 8 times

Are you trying to make my point for me?

How many of those 2-loss West champs also lost an OOC game? That would make LSU worse than all 8 of those others, wouldnt it?

He can't pull the trigger on a pass. He holds it until he has no other choice but to run. Terrible QB, better runner.

No it doesn’t

But I’m not interested in doing your homework for you. Feel free to research all the context and nuance needed to make that claim.

That was Burrow’s first year as a starter, this is JD’s 4th year as a starter - you legitimately might be the dumbest person to ever post on this message board

This is pretty hilarious. JD5 has room for improvement, but saying “he cannot play well enough to win in this league” is fricking peak rantard. In the past 10 years, how many LSU QBs have led us to an SEC championship? How many have beaten bama?

JD is going to be our best shot at winning next year.

Then BK better have the best defense in the country and an O Line and running game so good that nobody cares that JD can't find open receivers.

No hate for Jayden whatsoever. But the comparison is not apples-to-apples.

'18 was Joe's first year as a starter. This is Jayden's 4th yr as a starter.
The '18 scheme was not some custom fit for Joe. Our offense is literally built around Jayden's skill-set.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Joe didn't go through spring practice in '18. Jayden did last spring.

Ridiculous.....we won games with him that we would have otherwise lost.......and he didn't didn't give up 275 rushing yards to A&M....that was on our defense.....

No JD at all in 2022? We'd be lucky to be 6-6. Of course JD is not a perfect qb, but he is what this team needed in 2022.

IMO, JD5 will be even better in 2023 with a more seasoned OL and better backs (I hope!).
