Numbers don't lie. Check burrows 1st year stats vs jaydens stats this year. Almost identical except jayden ran for a whole lot more yards.
Don't forget we were sh*ting on burrow too. We need a summer of 10k passes again

There’s a lot of shortsightedness in our fan base. This loss was a very big learning curve for the program under brian Kelly. I have no doubt that we show up next season significantly improved

Unless you dominate a team with talent anything can happen. How else a team like Arkansas dominates Ole Miss and then loses to Missouri?. You guys give too much credit or criticism to coaches.

Oh my God - IT'S NOT ABOUT THE NUMBERS.
Yes, people are overreacting to Jayden but he is not, and will never be the caliber of player Burrow was for LSU.
I think a lot of people need to open their eyes and take the purple and gold glasses off - everything that could have gone wrong yesterday did. Daniels shares blame in that, but our receivers were complete a-hole (per usual), we were dominated up front on both sides, had no running game, playcalling was abysmal...
I could go on but we were lucky to be in the position we were in. Be grateful LSU is playing two more games including one for a conference title. If Daniels isn't our QB, we're likely in the position TAMU is in right now and their season is done.

Attended game. Had receivers open but pulled it down and ran.

Somebody posted Danny Etling’s stats next to Daniels’ and they were almost identical . Does that mean Etling = Burrow?

Team shot their wad against Bama. Substandard efforts since then. Without Perkins there is no SECw title. It's almost as if TAMU was an afterthought, and the results showed it.

The only reason we are playing this coming weekend for the SEC championship is because of JD. Without him this team would likely not be bowl eligible. Is he perfect? Of course not, but he has been the difference maker for the offense.

Nobody is saying JD is as good as Joe. That is silly. They are saying they both went 9-3 in year 1 with very similar numbers and anyone thinking that LSU should just move on from JD is being shorted sighted and emotional

Pointing out his deficiencies is not hating on him. He didn’t single handedly lose the game but he had a huge play ( one that he should have handed off ) that turned the momentum totally in aTm’s favor and LSU never recovered.

He wasn’t the only player that stunk it up last night but JD5 was the most important player to stink it up. Of all the times he handled the ball there were not as many good outcomes as bad. Hate doesn’t play into this assessment. It’s what happened. And it’s happened many times before.

Please don’t ever compare Burrow with Daniels. Daniels could go work with the best QB coaches on the planet and never be close to Burrow. Burrow is special buddy!
