Ridiculous.....we won games with him that we would have otherwise lost.......and he didn't didn't give up 275 rushing yards to A&M....that was on our defense.....
So let me get this straight. The games LSU won was because of JD and the ones they lost are for other reasons?

Somebody is going to have to remind me of the hate Joe Burrow ever received.

Yeah it's pretty hard to win when you allow 274 yards rushing and 10-15 3rd down conversions.

There’s a lot of shortsightedness in our fan base. This loss was a very big learning curve for the program under brian Kelly. I have no doubt that we show up next season significantly improved

------------------------------------------

Well said Kareem! Plus other overlooked biases when it comes to certain QBs. Our fanbase is definetly shortsighted and slanted.

Everyone hating on daniels

Of course not. Great QB, made many mistakes in his first year, but never the scrutiny of this magnitude.

I think its a small minority of idiots that shifts from week to week. Daniels is as good as Burrow was in 2018 and can easily produce the same record of 10 wins. He has two different chances. He also accomplished something in year one that Burrow could not, he beat Bama and is in the SEC Championship.

I have been consistent from week 1, actually first half of week 1. Immediately you could see what type of QB JD would be. Run first with no signs of having a consistent passing attack all year. He proved a lot of us right.

During the Miami game when Burrow checked to a run play at the line and Brosette I believe was the RB broke off a big run. Myself and a few guys watching the game immediately looked at each other and said got dammit we finally got a QB. It was the opposite reaction when JD started his first game and tucked and ran with open receivers.

Once again stop comparing JD to Burrow. It’s disrespectful to Burrow. His first year a lot of people were critical but a lot of people also saw he had all the attributes you want in a college QB. Accuracy and decision making to name a few. He just needed more time under his belt as a starter. JD has 40+ starts. He still lacks the two things that made Burrow great. Accuracy and decision making.

So, Daniels is on Burrow's level good/great? Is that what you are saying? Stats? What about leadership? Confidence?

Butt crack afro hairdoo is not worthy of a leader.

Lose that look, gain your team.
----------------------------------------------------------

Nope that's not what I'm saying. Comparing the two is pointless. Two different QBs, coaches, team, etc. It's the same as the greatest of all time (GOAT) pointless argument.

So let me return the favor of attempting to put words in someone's mouth... Burrow cutting his mullet, that was the difference in his play? I'm sure the coaches and teams cared more about their abilities than their "right" to keep their hair the way they want too. I'd venture to say it's a blessing to all of us that you don't set the national or global standard on how people should look.

Numbers don't lie. Check burrows 1st year stats vs jaydens stats this year.

Burrow started 0 games before 2018 LSU. Burrow started 28 total games in college. JD started 30 before arriving at LSU and has started 12 more games now than burrow ever did in his career. Retarded argument.

Why don’t we compare Brandon Weeden at 28 years old vs Tom Brady at 28.

So critiquing his play is the same as “shiting” on him? He’s had plenty of time to figure it out but is still lost. Daniels cannot see the field. He is a big reason the offense gets stymied.

If Daniels had played PERFECT the score would have still been something like 33-30 (very close) because the fricking defense SUXKED DONKEY BALLS.

They could not get off the field on 3rd down, so it would’ve been a track meet and we probably still would’ve lost!

Daniels will never approach what Burrow accomplished. He was a once in a generation quarterback.

Daniels has not learned much in four seasons except to tuck and run. That’s it.

17-17 after LSU forced A&M to go 3 and Out 2 straight possessions. You could feel lsu getting the momentum and starting to lean on A&M. JD held the ball instead of giving it to Emery and fumbled to make it 24-17 and crushed all momentum. And that was it.

Spot on but unpopular nonetheless. Daniels has given 0 sign of the light going on. I was hoping he would come through against AM but he came up small. This will not change no matter what the women here or BK think. Some of us see it others simply cannot.

BTW, I remember that play JB checked out of and thought the same thing-a real QB. Wish Jayden were one as well.

Cheers, mate.
