Etienne has big time breakaway speed and can break tackless well, but at this point Clyde has shown more elusiveness, and has a crazy ability to stay on his feet and get yard when it seems nothing is there.
CEH is also an NFL level route runner and receiver out of the backfield, and Etienne doesn't have that yet.

Will be interesting to see how they are drafted.

No, he wasn’t. Etienne is the better back, and he played fantastic last night, as did Clyde.

If Etienne were on LSU, that’s at least 10 tds Burrow doesn’t get to throw that would have been taken away by long Etienne runs lol

I still remember early in the season some people calling for CEH to be benched, or share more carries with Curry, TDP, and Emery.

CEH has been an incredibly unsung hero this season, many times operating in the shadows of Joe. He waited his turn and shined and I hope he cashes in. I could see him having a Kevin Faulk type NFL career. Faulk was Brady's pressure relief for a long time in NE. CEH has played that role for Joe perfectly.

Thank you CEH -

Curry, TDP, and Emery all have their turn and our success at producing RBs appears to bet in good hands for years to come.

It would be cool to see Burrow and CEH drafted by the same team.

Joe Mixon is a much better RB than Clyde

One of draft boards on ESPN had CEH as the higher draft choice as well.

It is fun to watch Clyde, he creates something out of nothing.

Clyde is the fricking man

But I thought Etienne was the player that stood out the most last night behind Burrow and Chase

He ran hard and quick to the first step as I have seen in college

Etienne is more Alvin Kamara-ish.

Clyde is more Emmit Smith-ish.

How is 81 plays to 65 twice as much? Good job on the math there. Depleted? Who were the missing other than the LB that got ejected? Their only shot to making a come back was to stop Clyde whom they knew was coming and they still couldn’t. Etienne is considered better because he broke out last year and was the focal point of the entire offense. Clyde was like 3-4 option and didn’t even get going until SEC play. From an efficiency standpoint and from a receiving and blocking standpoint Clyde is way better and it isn’t close.

How many plays did Clemsons defense have in the 2nd half

How many plays did LSUs defense have in the 2nd half

I forgot to include 2nd half

Looks like LSU doubled up Clemson on T.O.P. and ran 44 plays to their 29

Etienne was a scary dude, kept waiting for him to break something. But yeah Clydro was better, all year

FIFY. Let's also not forget Clyde sliding a few times to stay in bounds to stay in bounds and keep the clock running.

Too bad they didn't use him in the first half more though.
