Stats only tell part of the story. Clyde is clutch. He came up in the biggest games, the biggest moments, and did what he had to do to win.

I think he had 15 rushes.

CEH was a beast late in the game.

Etienne was their best player on offense. Great burst through the LOS. I was impressed by him.

Yep.

Different skill-set than Clyde but a fantastic RB all the same.

Clyde proved why LSU offered him before Etienne. Kid was a monster this season.

Clyde is so good, and he is so hard to tackle. I honestly think the only time i see Clyde go down is when he is tackled in between the hash marks. Every time he gets to the boundaries, he is either hits the juke stick, or trucks someone. Even if they wrap him up, he hardly ever goes down.

to be fair, a large majority of those yards for Clyde were in latter stages of the game, when we were trying to chew clock and we were feeding him the ball, while at the same time Clemson abandoned their run game, so Etienne had less and less carries...

that being said, Clyde did have a great game, and played a vital part in securing the win for us...

I likes me some CEH. Always have. Sad to see him leave, but may he have a very productive career at the next level.

All I heard in the weeks leading up to the game is Etiennes 8.2 ypc. I loved the fact that a lot of people forgot that we have a true hammer at running back, and he ended up with better everything, including ypc

I’m really glad the Clemson coaches decided to get away from Etienne.

Both backs are good for sure.

Clyde is a stud. Etienne is a baller. Both guys have potential for solid NFL careers. However, I love CEH.

Meh. He's too short, too small and too slow to play elite level football.

They didn’t run behind the same line

You can’t compare RBs like you’re doing

And Clemson KNEW that was what we were trying to do. Don't diminish what Clyde like he was a QB racking up yardage in junk time when teams are playing prevent and giving up huge chunks of yardage on intermediate routes.

He has the balance of Barry Sanders. And that is no small compliment
