Loved the guy... but no way bregman is the best college SS of all time

Agreed... think it was more of a recognition thing. He was up against Barry Larkin and Paul Molitor.

Bregman doesn’t deserve a place on that team by a long shot. I don’t think he was the best at LSU either.

You could argue the best college baseball player of all time didn't make the list. Dave Winfield who along with Will Clark, Robin Ventura, Brooks Kieschnick were the inaugural class of college baseball HOF. Skip was also part of that 10 person class.

Well, this list certainly leaned heavily on college “career” numbers. If it was for a single year, my vote would have been for Brandon Larson at SS.

Brandon Larson - Only played one season at LSU in 1997, but hit 40 hr and had 118 rbi. Also had a .381 batting average.

I always wondered what kind of major league career he could have had without all of his injuries.
