IF you have DirecTV and the 4k boxes for DirecTV

Watch the Tigers beat up the Gators in crisp 4k resolution

Nothing streaming comes close to actual 4k, even 4k netflix is not really 4k, it's hyper compressed

The ESPN app doesn't even do surround sound.

Amazon fire stick streamed some NFL games in 1080 a couple of years ago. I wish they would do that for college games.

IF you got a genie the last few years it should be capable - I think

Make note you have to pay for 4k as well I believe - although not 100% sure since this is new with ESPN itself. Could always just call and ask though

True, but it's still better quality than the pathetic 720p signal that ESPN typically broadcasts.

4k?
You're lucky if you can watch the ESPN app and it not look glitchy as hell.

I have to imagine that app is used by millions, yet it seems as if ESPN or Disney or whoever is in charge of it could care less about its performance.

Make sure you have a 4K TV to go with the 4K box.

Every time I see the 4K designation, all I can think about is that scene toward the end of Night Shift when Chuck finally discovers he has a pair of nuts. The great Vincent Schiavelli plays the sandwich delivery guy delivering his sandwich to Chuck's apartment, he lives in Apt. 4K. First words out of his mouth: "Where the frick is 4K?"

Love that scene.

ETA: Man you can find anything on youtube: 4K
