ESPN Reporter - Outside of Simmons LSU is not overly Talented

Dan Dakich stated today that outside of Simmon's LSU doesn't have another pro on the roster.
Without a quality point guard on the roster he thinks, as we all know, that this roster is fatally flawed and it doesn't all have to do with coaching on court. Obviously Johnny put the roster together, but he stated the notion that this is a TOP 15-20 roster is 100% not accurate. He was not impressed with anyone on the roster other than Simmons - surprised that he even stated that Blakeney is not great despite his scoring the other night.

Fact is that everyone on this board believes that this is a TOP 15 roster and that is just not the case according to one man who knows the game.

He's not wrong. Everyone else is way to inconsistent to count on. There's been flashes from a few players like AB and TQ, but they've also been terrible at times. Don't even get me started on how terrible Darcy is. Victor is consistently good not great but he's the reason Darcy plays so much. Seems like he's always in foul trouble.

Quarterman, before his downfall, was a talent. Blakeney is gonna be a stud bext year. Hornsby is one of the best shooters in the SEC and Victor hasn't reached his peak.

LSU should make the tournament with the talent they do have. Period. Unless a miracle happens, that ain't happening. Also, Blakeney is a future NBA player. Victor is pretty damn good too. TQ was getting quite a bit of NBA talk before his lackluster effort this year, but he has a lot of natural ability.

I wish I could get his actual comments versus your interpretation. Because I doubt he would say that having the most talented player in college basketball needs to have another NBA player next to him in order for the team to not struggle to get into the NCAA tournament.
Out of the top 25 team, I would bet that no more than 10 have multiple pro players.

I think Jones's son banged Dakich's daughter. He absolutely hates LSU and comes off very tool-ish. It's fine to criticized because LSU deserves it, but the way he comes off is very douchey

This is what I have been saying to all the basketball experts on tiger droppings. They think LSU has the best talent and other schools just sit on their arse
