Did I read that right...the LSU vs ULL game (not on TV) had the most viewers of any game (on TV or net)?

This is such a tired argument. We get it, you're jealous of the program LSU has built. Deal with it and stop polluting this board with your bullshite.

Now they'll never put them back on TV and there'll be MANY more commercials next time.

But that's ok because you can DVR it.

Do y'all think it would have been the same outcome had LSU played Sam Houston in the final?

I think it's safe to say the Lafayette viewership had a lot to do with this as well. It wasn't just LSU fans watching.

I think that's accurate. Yall have a good fanbase. I was surprised more people didn't make it to watch the games in person. But I definitely think yall contributed to those numbers. The LSU fanbase obviously did the heavy lifting though, the numbers are just higher.

Of course its a safe bet. Nobody that is a fan of UL or any of the other schools could get tickets for the most part unless you were fortune enough to have bought the whole weekend package, after LSU had their pick of the tickets first.

Um, I think it has more to do with LSU being the top baseball progam in the country and its popularity - in Louisiana and elsewhere - having exponentially grown over the last 3 decades.

Your jab at BR, whether true or not (that's a different conversation), has absolutely zero to do with LSU baseball ratings.

I'd imagine the 6 national titles, countless SEC titles, 15 CWS appearances, new ballpark, 1000's of wins and the premier collegiate baseball players have a lot more to do with LSU's unmatched fan interest and TV ratings than not having a Six Flags in town.
