I wish we'd get the numbers for sure, but what do you think they're expecting for Nola vs. Gray Friday night?

I'm sure they're hoping Gray goes #1 so they can use that to promote the game. I don't watch anything on ESPN other than live sports though, so I have no idea how much promo they're doing for the Supers right now.

I think if you're tv you have to look at big ga,e ratings without lsu. We tend to skew ratings

How the hell in this day and age TV ratings can't be found easily for something like this?

Talk radio had a guy on earlier this week from baseball america explaining the Reason teams like UCLA and Cal St. make tv with 500 people in th stands is because their fans would never seek them out on ESPN 3 to watch them so TV is the only way to get coverage for those teams. ESPN knows every single LSU fan will seek out whatever means neccessary to watch the game.

Funny how that logic is never used for the Yankees, or LeBron, or Tiger.

Even if Gray goes #1 it won't move the needle much. Strasburg is the only guy in a while who's brought eyes to college baseball by himself.

They are trying to grow the sport. Showing 1 team that has a loyal fan base doesn't do that. They have to get teams with small fan bases on. If lsu is on tv they are getting about same amount of people watching.

The names you me mentioned bring millions upon millions of people in an established national sport. Advertisements pay well to be played during them.

Ya I enjoyed that.

For baseball to grow they need big alumni based schools up north to have good teams make it to Omaha. It hurts college baseball how shitty big 10 and big east are in baseball.

So we're not only #1 in ticket sales and live attendance, we're now also #1 in virtual attendance!
