If it weren’t for ESPN, college baseball wouldn’t even be televised. I remember when the only college baseball that was even on TV was the CWS. Your options were to either go to the games, or listen to Jim Hawthorne on the radio.

Yeah, you’re right. Except if you’re like me and recorded the game because you couldn’t watch until later. Didn’t matter ultimately but would have sucked if it had been a close game.
