For those of you old enough to remember TigerVision... which one was better?

For the olds... TigerVision was probably easier to get... because you could, at the very worst, call your cable companby and order it over the phone. Then you just had to go to that channel at gametime.

THe + is certainly cheaper.

People complain about the production quality of games on the + but maaaan TigerVision had some awful quality as well.

Tigervision PPV was garbage. The + stuff is far more convenient if you're minimally Tech competent. I mean there's certainly going to be an element of angry old timers that don't have any streaming devices and can't watch the game. But give me the current setup over the old potato quality Tiger vision games.

One advantage is that you could only order the games you wanted, without subscription. BUT, you couldn't share subscriptions so I think both balance out.

The quality of TV sucked but everything sucked...hell, I threw in a couple of old DVDs from games in the early 00's I made from VHS games before our 12 yo daughter was born and my daughter asked if that was when they first came out with color TVs

well, I would always go to my Grandfather's house for Tigervision games. Grandmaw would always cook something and make some sort of desert for me and Paw.

So I'm choosing those over the new stuff for that reason.

Tigervision was 49.95 per game, so there is that.

Yeah, but it required no subscription and was often times split up by numerous people gathering in one place. I don't think the cost of TiverVision was a negative at all.

It's nostalgic to look back at some of the old tiger vision coverage but it was bushleague.

For some reason I still have the Tulane game from 82 on VHS and converted it to DVD. LSU turned off the lights in the south endzone when the Tulane fans were celebrating..it was so petty and so funny at the same time. I love all of it

TigerVision video/production quality sucked and the local homers calling the game on a 1 to 5 scale were negative 10, even current bottom tier ESPN PBP/analysts are much better. Rene' something something.

Probably a small number but some of us can only stream expletives at our ridiculously slow (satellite) internet because we live in the boonies.

Stupid Starlink waiting list.

I have ESPN+ included in my Verizon plan

I can watch LSU most weeks and a shitload of other games (I think every Tulane and ULL game so far) on my phone anywhere.

TigerVision was back in the dark ages. Overpriced. Shitty product. And obviously, not available on your phone.

I actually liked old-school Tigervision from the '80's. It wasn't the most technologically advanced broadcasts, but it was ALL LSU from the announcers and pregame/halftime features, to the highlights at the end.

Yeah I enjoyed that all the announcers were homers.

Do you get good cellular service? Get one of those Verizon Cube deals.

My favorite thing about Tigervision was when Bert Jones was on doing color commentary. I don't remember how many he did but he was always entertaining.
