No shite

Kaepernick opted out of his deal with SF because he wanted a longer deal.. BAD move buddy. Eric Reid was offered a 1 year deal with SF but decided to test the waters..and he failed too

Because the NFL can easily claim it's because of concussions. Also can claim there are better options at his position. Reid said he wasn't going to stop protesting at "work". So there are consequences to that. A team will likely never admit to that on record, but it's widely known that NFL franchises absolutely despise distractions. Well everyone except the Cowboys.

Regardless of what Reid's intentions were, that is exactly the impression it gives to millions of NFL fans. NFL owners have a business interest in the product they put on the field. If it becomes apparent, right or wrong, that enough people perceive his actions as being disrespectful and will adversely affect their bottom line, then NFL owners have to cater to their customers if they feel it is necessary to the viability of their business interests.

Do you think he would be employed if he didn’t kneel yes or no?

I think the answer is yes.

I dont Know what his rights towards collusion are but I do Think that’s why he doesn’t have a job. There are excuses and then there are reasons.

For collusion

He's right, you know. The NFL colluded to not sign Guice because he oughted them.

I'm saying it's both. Were he a perennial all-pro player with no injury concerns, then more teams may feel that his actions are worth signing him. But he is not a perennial all-pro player and he is not a player without health concerns. Therefore, the juice probably isn't worth the squeeze to an owner looking to sign him.

That doesn't make it collusion that he isn't employed right now. It is one of several factors.

Again, stop looking at this as a fan of Reid, and perhaps it will finally make sense to you.

He would be employed if he just took the 1 year deal SF offered to him earlier...sooo.....

Exactly. And it makes one think, they are either getting bad advice from their agents or not listening to it. Especially Reid. Reid knew exactly what he could be facing after seeing what Kaepernick went through last season. The likely prudent move for him would have been to accept the one year deal, go play next year and prove to other owners that he isn't going to be a distraction and isn't going to kneel during the anthem (like he said he wouldn't). Then, he would be in a better position next year to seek a long-term contract. It just makes no sense unless he's trying to be a martyr like Kaepernick and was full of shite when he said he wouldn't kneel and/or would accept not being able to play as a consequence of his protest.

and Kaepernick and Reid are going to lose their lawsuit because they were, in fact, offered the opportunity to play and turned it down.

He should in no way win this based on the fact teams can legitimately say they don't want to deal with his concussion issues. Sadly, some shitty judge with biases will likely rule in his favor since the justice system in this country is shite.

Good move by Reid. New he doesn't have to risk neurological damage any longer and might just get a decent settlement to drop his suit. He and Kaepernick can be the face of whatever their movement is, getting funded by George Soros and his ilk, charge lucrative speaking fees and collect compensation by sitting on boards of companies that want to show their commitment to "diversity". This lawsuit just gives Reid more credibility going forward.
