I wonder what was discussed with regard to LSU's facilities??

I was in Waco for a couple years and their basketball facilities are better than LSU's.

If you want to change a programs stars (see A Khights Tale), it must include physical changes to all things that reflect the old guard.

You can't wash off the smell of mediocrity. Sometimes you have to tear it down and start over.

I can’t imagine the investment in WBB of this size being made without real talks of facility inhancement

Which benefits Men’s BB too.

Men’s CBB is real money. We’ve built a new Baseball stadium, softball stadium, we’ve added MONSTER additions to the stadium. And the PMAC has fallen behind.

I'd maybe agree with you if they raised Mulkey by 50% to match Wade to come here. She came here for slightly more money than she was already making. LSU simply paid the going rate for a championship level coach. That's how it's supposed to be done.

Agreed.

I can understand being cautious with spending the last couple of years, Covid and all that, but it's time the PMAC is brought into this century.

I’ve heard rumblings of building a new arena or dramatic upgrades within 3-4 years.

The way to get stellar facilities for a program is to win consistently.....A successful program will reap the rewards of that success....a program that is not successful will reap no such rewards. It is as simple as that.

That isn't the responsibility of the Athletic Department.

So nobody here cares if we have a real university, as long as the AD is good?

Perhaps I’m a sentimentalist, but I’m old enough to have very fond memories of the “Deaf Dome”. So would hate to see it torn down. Prefer major upgrades.

sadly our baseball stadium while barely being over 10 years old is now back half the pack in the sec. even worse though is at was never number 1

the PMAC is close to dead last for facilities in the sec. the state of LSU facilities is pretty bad
