In the same interview people are freaking out about, Kelly even said Emery will be a part of what they do this year.

That's not the quote of someone who thinks there's a chance he's going to miss much of the season.
This is probably some kind of clearinghouse issue. Possibly summer grades had to be sent in for review for him to be cleared.

What I took from Kelly’s press conference is that Emery will probably get some playing time at some point this year. It sounds like that point will definitely not be week one unless something changes dramatically.
He told us emery was ineligible without saying he is ineligible.

Why is everyone beating around the bush? If he is academically ineligible, then that wont change 1-2 weeks into the season. What am I missing here?

I don't think he has officially been ruled out for FSU. Sounds like he will be cleared, but the question is when.

Emery is suspended for 2 games. Raydar is suspended for the whole 2022 season.

Well, 2 games isn’t the end of the world. I hate it for him, but he should be fully in the swing of things when we get to the heart of the SEC schedule.
As for Raydar, I can’t imagine he plays another snap at LSU. He should just transfer out somewhere in the G5 where he can get on the field before next season.
