Imagine still being upset by “coach speak” 2 years later

Fanbase is more offended by that then Dave was. Dave knows what coach speak is Apparently some fans don’t.

Dave and O have a great relationship. Dave knows it was coach speak and not personal. Only the lsu fanbase doesn’t get it for some reason

Still wild love to see a book written on this decline. Odd how he had some weird animosity towards Aranda.

Stupid people usually find competence in others confusing and threatening.

true but it was Aranda's defense that got humiliated by Texas, Vandy, and Ole Miss. Aranda couldn't stop a freshman qb from running all over him.

I think early on several injuries. The Texas and Vandy Game LSU was doing lots of tempo and I think Aranda and LSU's defense had to adjust to that. The Ole Miss game was a let down but after that LSU's Defense was elite the last 5 games vs. Arkansas, the AGGI$, UGA, OU and Clemson.

The obsession with running down a coach that gave you a national championship is weird. I wonder if the Auburn people continuously post negatively about Chizik all the time. I doubt it.

That quote…the exact moment that was the beginning of the end for Coach O. When he first said it, my first reaction was “why would any HC disrespect an outgoing Assistant Coach?” Thought it was classless. Second thought was…well I sure hope he is right with that kind of brazen pronouncement. Then our D under Pelosi was the all time worst in the history of LSU Football. THAT quote is forever etched in my mind as the beginning of the downfall of Coach O.

I could see Aranda bringing in Coach O to coach defensive line and recruit Louisiana...

With a Natty and $17 million. Who is the moron again?

Joe Alleva

Alleva gave O the big extension?

Let me refresh your memory:

"Coach O has set a new standard at LSU," athletic director Scott Woodward said in a news release. "He has proven that he is not only a championship coach, but also a leader of a program committed to doing things the right way. He has represented our institution and our state with great pride, on and off the field of play. He is well-deserving of this new contract, which should make clear our commitment to Coach O and the direction of our football program."

Nah. Aranda probably had enough of the rougarou yelling “four-tree” in his ear while he was at LSU.

They don’t have a huge contingent of their fan base that wanted to keep him and still defends him.

I would love to see O at Baylor but don’t think his personality would fit in at a Baptist school. They tend to frown at cursing.
