The sooner everyone realizes that Orgeron is not a CEO the better.

Guy was/is and elite recruiter and decent DL coach.

Nothing more nothing less.

We are stuck with him up and until the wheels fall off.

Can someone ask him why Boutte is on punt coverage? I know we're deep at WR but I'd prefer not to have our best receiver hurt covering a punt..

I try to put as much info out during the week that I can then take the weekends off. Should be an interesting OTB recap tomorrow morning

I do not want Ed O to be HC at LSU and doubt anybody else would hire him, but I have to give him credit for the warmth he obviously feels for his players.
He takes the high road in this interview and deserves credit for it.

Jarvis Landry was on kick coverage and damn good at it. Boutte made 2 tackles on Saturday that looked like the returner could have turned it up for big yardage. That being said, Landry is built more like a SS. I'd like to see Bech on kick coverage. He has the same mentality of Landry and I could see him lowering the boom on a returner.

Didn't he only do that his freshman year? My memory is fuzzy on that but when him and OBJ became the focus of the offense I thought he dropped ST duties.

I can't believe none of the crack media pool asked about Boutte standing on the sielines for big 3rd downs in the second half.

Freshman and Soph years. He was a 5 star WR, but like I said he was a much more physical player and didn't really breakout until his JR season.

It's almost as if ppl don't remember Nick Saban...he always did this and I am pretty sure Devante Smith was on punt coverage last year

How long does it take an OL to gel? They have been together for 14 games now (give or take a dude).

Lets face it...this OL isn't very good.

I’d be perfect fine with Boutte on punt coverage. But don’t sacrifice him on some of the most important plays on offense and then throw him out there the next play to make a tackle. That’s mind boggling lol

Because he wants to hit people and is good at it. If he was forced to that would be one thing, but the injury chance is not terribly big. I would much rather have a motivated Boutte than an unmotivated Boutte that is ever so slightly less likely to get injured.

I only saw him on the sideline once on 3rd down. I was annoyed also and don't know why...I seriously doubt they wanted him on the sideline for a 3rd down passing play. Did he come out on his own???

Seems like O knows what to do but in game time flow does not have the discipline to do it.
