No I mean that it isn’t happening already and he feels the need to rally the troops.
I admittedly am paranoid about LSU becoming a “small market” team in the NIL era

The old blue hairs at the rotary club are probably hesitant to jump in. There’s a lot of money in that room, but not necessarily companies that would normally advertise heavily.
Hopefully Ed’s pep talk jump starts things a bit. If it’s within the rules to pay a player $50k to show up to an office and sign hats, then do it.

I really want to slow down my expectations on Bech but man that dude was such a baller at STM if he can acclimate his game to the SEC he will be fun to watch.

This needs to happen and Ed O knows it. I just hope our high and mighty LSU compliance doesn't stand in the way or bleeding heart acedimics, but you know they will. LSU I'm afraid may get left behind in the NIL arms race.

This is just the crap this NIL bullsht started...no rules just throw money. Kiss college sports goodbye...in 5 years they won't be worth watching....the transfer rules and the NIL will screw college sports up to the point they will not berecognizable.
