I just listened to it. Look at my post above. He wanted to sign 25. He had targets. He had backup plans that he couldn’t promise anything because it all depended on what the studs would do. He says he will now look at add graduate transfers.

A sign of lack of intelligence is blatantly and obviously lying to people and assuming they are too dumb to catch the lie.

He never said when that plan was set into action. Could have been after they learned they weren’t getting Surtain, Goodrich, and Foster so they decided to just stick with what they had.

No it implies his backup options didn’t wait to see if the studs signed. He is saying they weren’t going to reach for any other players that weren’t on the radar, rather use it for grad transfers now.

I take that quote as signing 23 and saving two spots was the plan IF we missed on our guys. We weren't going to try to fill those two spots with other people, we would just save them for either possible transfers or to be used in the next class. I don't think he meant signing 23 was plan A.
