Well, that's how it looked, so that sounds about right.

#LSU Ed Ingram on new offensive line coach Brad Davis replacing James Cregg in early June. Ingram would've liked a little more time to get adapted.

Ed Ingram asked about what #LSU's offensive linemen see as the specific miscues from Saturday's opener at #UCLA.

"There were times that we didn't know what to do or we didn't block the right person... and also helping out the quarterback with the protection calls."

Ed Ingram asked abt camp injuries impacting continuity.

"I really don't know. It could've played some part in it. But I don't think it played a direct part in it."

"End of the day, we've just got to focus on our technique. I think a lot of us were tired and out of shape

I have no doubt all of this is true, but the fact that player is saying it publicly shows that things might even be worse then we think.

This isn’t the type of thing players should be talking about to local media.

Sounds like the HC and company are robbing the program for a lot of $$ if this is true.. they are getting paid top $ to have below average results.

This should be a wake up call if the statements are true.

can we please wipe the program clean and start fresh?

we have to be the only program that fires the head coach and keeps 90% of the assistants

LSU Twitter/IG must post MOAR workout and tire flipping videos. We need to counteract his quote.

Sounds like Mr. All World OL coach isn’t worth a crap.

They definitely looked out of shape. That’s on coaches and on lack of leadership on the offensive line.

They should pretty well know proper technique by now.

To get pushed around the way they did, they just weren’t strong enough. Poor strength, no stamina.

It’s unbelievable. Almost seems as if the team is turning on the coaching staff with statements like that.

I foresee a ping pong match of coaches and players throwing each other under the bus if things don’t improve quickly.

So our offensive line is out of shape and doesn’t know who to block. Wow.

I'll admit, the "we felt tired and out of shape" comment triggered me a little bit.

Maybe neither, but would probably lean coaches. I don't know how "complex" Davis' scheme is, but he gets there not long before fall camp starts and if what Ingram says is true they haven't fully learned the system yet. I figure you simplify it enough for them to function in the game and pick more of it up along the way with practice during the season.
