He should start by learning to dribble with his left hand.

Only because he’s the only one any of us have any confidence in. Not really ragging on him, we just know he’s the one who can make a difference.

Eason needs to do a better job of not fouling and he needs to improve his defense.

That actually looked like what the gameplan was starting the 1st half against Vandy was to get the ball to Eason and Days on the block. Then we seemed to get away from it.

Back to the basket game? For a 6’8” guy? This isn’t 1980.

Eason should be working on any of the following before a fricking back to the basket game:

1) become a true catch and shoot 3 point threat
2) figure out how to dribble drive with his non-dominant hand
3) develop an in between game once he blows by his primary defender

That list makes it seem like I think Eason isn’t good, but that’s definitely not the case. I think he’s very good, but his offensive game isn’t exactly diverse. He could average 20 points a game and be a lottery pick if he made one of the 3 things a strength instead of a (relative) weakness.

What, specifically, does he need to improve with his defense? His metrics are outstanding and it’s driving a borderline first round NBA draft grade.

Will Wade needs to watch Wyoming play basketball and incorporate some of those sets into the game occasionally. Let a guard isolate and play some post up with a lot of court and shooters in front of him to kick too. They don't even have an offense.

He reaches a lot. Doesn’t get in front the the offensive guy. Gets out of position. He gets beat and fouls.

Metrics??? Can you share, maybe I will change my mind.

So let me get this straight? Instead of Eason working on his post game you want him to improve his mid range game. For someone who is so concerned with modern basketball you seem to be pretty antiquated

I want you to turn on an NBA game and tell me if the 6’8” guys shoot more mid rangers off the dribble or jump hooks. Come on now

EvanMiya.com has him 11th in defensive impact rating (our guy Eric Gaines is first). Eason has the best D rating of any rotation members on an elite defensive team at 80.3.

Sam Venecie at the Athletic and Mike Schmitz at ESPN have lauded Eason’s defensive play and given it as the biggest reason he has a fringe first round NBA draft grade.

I known it's highly doubtful, but if Eason stuck around one more year, look out. Team would be absolutely loaded next season.

We need to get off to a good start for once, so our second half heroics pay off

I remember thinking we had something cooking Saturday when Murray hit a 3 to make it 11-6 and then the whole team caught tSwine flu

Who the hell posts up anymore on any level of basketball?

The game itself has become unwatchable.
