One EKU batter has more hits than the entire LSU team

Those constant throws to first are a brilliant stategy to keep LSU batters standing out in the cold for their at bats. It has worked like a charm the entire game.

Incredible. 4 straight lead off walks and zero runs. Gotta be a record

"I’ll say this. When PM continues to award Hughes starts and he continues to disappoint at the plate, then other guys realize that they can still start when they can’t hit. That means they don’t worry about getting better at hitting. They keep doing what they think is best."
I just cannot see this thought popping up in a players head. I never played college ball, but played for 18 yrs, and I can firmly say I have never seen/heard/had a teammate think this way about a situation like this. Never. It was always what can I do better to show that I deserve playing time. Never was, hey so n so isn't hitting well so I won't worry about getting better at hitting bc I'll start either way. I at least would freaking hope NO ONE would have that line of thinking.
