@lsubaseballdata has been posting preseason workouts and he's topped 110 mph exit velocity in live pitching the last two days.

For those that don't know. This is good. Really, really good.

He will never make it to campus.

Am I doing it right?

Crews was a better prospect than Cabrera coming out
Lucky he's on campus for three years

Drost has some legit power too - not as polished as Crews yet though

He also had two OF assists (and not the cheap arse relay "everyone gets a stat" type) over the summer. One from RF and one from CF, both throwing to home plate if I remember correctly.

Since I’ve followed that twitter account, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone top 111 (he topped this the other day)

First one since Jared Foster?

ETA: And it is appropriate to use the term "hitting nukes" since Crews came from the same high school as Todd Peterson.

Deichmann had one at 113, but that’s the only one above 111 that I’m aware of.

It's going to kill me that I won't get to see much of them live this season.

You and me both, Scuba.

I assume you didn't opt out of your 25% share of season tickets??

I opted in but if I end up not getting a fair share of weekend games, especially SEC games, or if I get stuck in the outfield bleachers instead of getting my or near my grandstand seats then I'm just going to sell my season tickets and buy a few tickets here and there on StubHub.

If I read the email to season ticket holders correctly, our seat locations will be dependent on our TAF Philanthropic Priority Point Ranking. I'm in the top 18% of TAF members in that ranking (and that includes all the football and basketball members who may not have baseball season tickets) so I'm hoping that will allow me to get some good seats to some desirable games.
