So you're such an O/Alleva fan that now Alleva is the good guy in that scandal?
In fact, I always believed the guys in that scandal. But now that I see the Alleva-haters bald-face-lying tactics, I'm seriously beginning to wonder. I've ordered victim (?) Crystal Gail Mangum's book.
Stop lying. It isn't helping you. Really. Stop lying.

I'll probably get plenty of downvotes from sunshine pumpers, but I felt like Woodward put Orgeron on notice in a kind, indirect way. Almost like: "Ten wins is nice, but if we can't get past Bama, I'll find someone that will."
And I think Woodward is the kind of guy who would make a move at the end of this season, if he had to, and have a plan. He wants to take LSU to the level it needs to be.
Less than ten regular season wins and a loss to Bama this year will get O canned.

If Orgeron wins 10 including a bowl game, he stays.
Woodward isn't stupid. He knows if he cans Orgeron after 10 wins overall, and the next guy can't reach 10 overall in his first 2 or 3 seasons, Woody will get canned. TITTB

If the athletic department had any kind of proper leader ship the last few years LSU would have been made to look stupid with Florida hurricane fiasco and LSU would have had to play at Florida 2 years in a row.
But ADs are absolutely not "leaders" to HC's

Take your own advice, maybe?
Orgeron was a highly questionable choice. Laughable in some circles, including the Ohio State fan base. But shite happens, and it is beginning to look like O may be one of the best hires in the last several years at any program.
And would I take Orgeron over Ryan Day? Yes. In a heartbeat. And over Herman and Jimbo. too.

Woodward was hired to get us over the hump with Alabama. If you don’t understand that, you don’t know anything about LSU football and the SEC. He’s playing the long game. If we loose 2-3 more games agains them and look stupid doing it (as we have the last few seasons) Orgeron will be gone. Woodward is about championships not just doing barely enough to keep the program profitable like Alleva was.

LSU’s athletic department is overall, in great standing. I don’t think there are any drastic immediate changes. Woodward is seasoned, and he’s taking over on cruise control. He will act when he needs too. Fargas is the only coach currently on any type of hot seat. Needs a 1 on 1 with Wade, too.

You lied when you said you found an example of a QUOTE that you falsely claimed I made. I did NOT make this QUOTE
The false QUOTE:
"Burrow throws a better spiral than Haskins"
Here is the link you provided that you CLAIMED contained this false QUOTE (it does not contain this false QUOTE)

Are you, like, 12 years old? I was summing up your Burrow>>>>Haskins Ethos ('guiding belief' for any 12 year olds in the crowd) you've bombarded us with.
Let's recount for the simpletons in the group....

quote:quote:clamdip: Bye, Felicia.quote:Buckeye
clamdip: it took a while, since you rode that "Burrow throws a better spiral than Haskins" angle for a while, but you've now fully revealed your retardedness this spring. It's hard for a Ree alter to stay the course forever.
Jeaux: Another one of your retarded lies. Provide a link to that
and I'll self-ban for 2 months. Putz.
LINK
Anyone with a 6th grade reading level would be able to assess what I meant: You've, since the day you signed up, thought Joe Burrow >>>>>> Haskins. There are many threads on this in your post history, now that I searched.
You have claimed:
1. that Burrow will get drafted higher next year than Haskins did this year (#15 overall... yikes!)
2. that Burrow has as strong an arm as Haskins
3. that Burrow has better touch than Haskins.
4. that Burrow has more "skill" than Haskins.
quote:
Can't count the times on the Rant that a few posters have claimed that Dwayne Haskins has a stronger arm than Joe Burrow. He doesn't. Haskins fires full velocity on almost every pass. Burrow throws with touch (takes more skill, BTW)
Do you deny that you believe Burrow >>>>>> Haskins and have stated this over and over?
So, yes, I'll squarely stand by my statement that you spent so much time praising Burrow/bashing Haskins (the obvious message in my post) that it wasn't until recently with the CWW/Alleva thing that you've given us a chance to see just how retarded you are in your blind following of anything and everything Orgeron. It's obvious that you, like Tiger Ree (hmmmm!), are threatened by Alleva's ouster.
So, again, you should just be a man, even as a 12 year old, and take your self-banishment for 2 months.
Cool?

A link to "that"... what? Well, to what I posted, which is that you have ridden a certain angle that is a lovefest of Burrow and bashing of Haskins. How did I sum up that angle?
your "Burrow throws a better spiral than Haskins" angle.
I provided a link (one of many) to show proof that you have lived and breathed this angle.
Let's look up the definition of angle for you, since I know you are struggling mightily here:
[google]
quote:
angle: a bias or point of view.
"Zimmer saw the world from an angle that few could understand"
So, that was pretty easy to link to. Your bias of Burrow over Haskins in any and all ways.
I linked.
You're self-banned.
Or at least would be if you were a man.

Now. As to your other points -
Point 1. Rickdaddy proposed a ban bet that Haskins would be drafted higher than Burrow - I said sure, since I probably won't post much after Burrow is gone anyway. RD backed out.
Point 2. Ohio State's half-time has a long ball throwing contest. Kind of a big deal. Usually 80 to 100 thousand fans in the stands. Burrow beat Haskins both times they competed head to head.
Point 3. Burrow clearly throws with better touch than Haskins. Haskins has improved his touch throws, but he came to C'Bus firing everything as hard as he could throw it.
Point 4. "that Burrow has more "skill" than Haskins." Not my words, but Burrow has running skills that Haskins just does not. Burrow will also get the ball to the RBs better than Haskins. UFM took the RPO away from Haskins for a couple games after the Purdue game - the one Haskins made 73 throws in - while the RBs stood and watched the failed "air show".

Well, you’re not an LSU fan, you’re an O fan. So of course you would take O over these coaches. O was handed the keys to something that was full of talent, the message had just gotten stale. He injected some energy into the program, but he’s not doing anything special, even though O pumpers will try and force down your throat that he is. Also, no other Power 5 AD in the country even wanted to interview O for their HC position. Alleva is the only idiot who was open to it. I’ll give O credit that he hasn’t crashed the Ferrari into a brick wall, and he surely seems to know how to win the offseason, now let’s see if he can actually win some hardware during the season. He has the talent, does he have the coaching ability? I don’t think so, but he can prove me wrong this season.

1. Please link to where you said this:
quote:You never said anything about a quote. Just proof that I was right about your angle, which I was and am in spades.
jeaux: I said I'd self-ban if you could show a QUOTE of: "Burrow throws a better spiral than Haskins"
2. Please link to where I lied. Where? I never said I "found a quote" -- that was your claim later to avoid self-banning:

I said you've been riding that "Burrow throws a better spiral than Haskins" angle. And you have. Undeniable.
And I linked to it.

If you're a man.
You can try to hide behind "exact quote", but I never claimed to be using an exact quote. You're not interesting enough for me to be able to quote. I summed up your angle perfectly. And linked to it. There are tons of examples because you only know one song. Or you did... until you started getting scared about O's security blanket being fired.
