Per Ed O in his PC. Sounded pretty pissed when one of the media members brought it up.

Do not want. Hopefully it’s just a small package to help spring some running backs free.

So we want to shorten the game and avoid injuries? No problem.

Exactly, there is a reason to change formation against certain teams

People in this fanbase really overreact to the I formation. Teams can still be very unpredictable and multiple out of the I formation. Just because Miles wasn't, doesn't mean it's not possible.

Our starting TE is hurt, and we have a good FB. It's common sense for this week.

I have I-form PTSD brah. This is a very valuable game for the passing, wanted to see them work more on that than fall back into old ways

I hear ya. They can still pass out of the I formation too though. You can still go with 3 WRs from the I formation or 2 WRs with a TE and split the TE off of the line.

inferior teams want to shorten games against superior teams, not vice versa.

How about we just try to blow them the frick out? No other team in America does what we do against shitty teams. They just put the hammer down and blow them out.

Brosette and Curry will run better out of the I I’m glad they are bringing it back for a few plays

Plus Tory Carter is a bulldozer we need him to smash a few people

I still think they will be working on the passing game. If LSU comes out in I-formation, LA Tech is going to have to load the box to stop it. That gives LSU plenty of 1-on-1 match ups on the outside to exploit.

Hell, maybe they just want to run a bunch of I formation to give teams more to prepare for.

We used the I formation in the first two games. I haven't rewatched Auburn yet, but I'd bet we used it in that game as well.

I believe Brosette's 40 yard run against SLU was out of the I. I could be wrong about this though.

The I formation is perfect for short yardage situations if you have a good fullback and a good line, particularly Guards and Center. If you don't have any I formation plays in your playbook, you're probably not a top level team.

That being said, I don't want to line up in the I and run every down either.
