As long as Superman shows up for our LSU Tigers at QB this game won’t be a problem. But I must admit the hard hits Daniels took bothered me, he seems tough as steel. Nuss better have his arse ready to play if his numbers called.

Poorly disguised “Nuss is really my choice to play QB” thread.

They looked horrible last week at home against a very average BYU team

No it’s not “shite for brains”. If Daniels keeps taking hard hits he could go down vs Arkansas, I don’t want that at all! I just know Nuss didn’t look good when he came in relief.

Arkansas game is almost always competitive because its late in the season and they love this game. This year with it being early in the season I'm not sure its going to have the same result. This isn't a trap game like most years. LSU going to be motivated and prepared. Looking forward to being in Tiger Stadium watching the game.

Actually Arkansas hasn't allowed 300 yards a game yet, while LSU has twice. Hope to see that changed this week

What are you saying Spock? That we have no defense against them?

Negative. Just listing facts to your "...know they can score and have no defense" comment

It’s all related. Arkansas is capable of scoring plenty against LSU. Daniels has taken way too many hard hits. Can’t afford to lose Daniels in a game that could be high scoring.

These topics are just so OP can say told you so. When LSU wins by 20 he will move on to “worrying” about the next game.

The addition of Weeks to the LB rotation will change things. He has a nose for the ball and fills the gap quickly. Between him and Speights and Penn it has opened the door to use perkins the way he needs to be used. My deal is we need to get more productivity from Jones. If he can start to play up to his expectations this defense will be able to give the secondary the opportunity to gel and hopefully we have what we need when going to Bama who is struggling to begin with. And Mason is still 3 - 4 weeks away from getting into game shape. He will get batter as the season goes on.

Arkansas offense:
38.3 points per game
370.3 yds per game

LSU offense:
45.7 points per game
537 yards per game

Not sure why you’re worried about their offense if they have no defense. Like others said, seems like this was a subtle Nuss bus thread

This Arkansas club is about a 6 & 6 type. They are going to be extra motivated this weekend coming off a loss, BUT that should not matter. LSU must play focused for 60 minutes though, or we could face a late-game scare of sorts.
