So much for that talking point

Woodward just met with him and told him he’s not being brought back next year?

I’m sure LSU alum have deep pockets. Probably not coming directly out of LSUs pocket.

We shall see, but I seriously doubt he’s getting the full $17m as Feldman is reporting

Either way, it’s over…not messy, both parties moving on. It’s a good day

I doubt it. It will get negotiated down to 5 mil is what I’ve been hearing on this board for months now. It has to true.

Feldman is making an assumption because nothing has been said about the buyout.

If the team wins out he will take that $17 million and coach at USC or Miami next year at $5 million / year. Possibly with Mullen as his OC.

If he was negotiating the terms of his separation for more than a week that would imply that he got less than the buyout in his contract. Other wise woody would just fire him.

Either it is money they could have gotten for something else or it is tv money or it is taxpayer money.

Nonetheless it will be paid over time and not in a lump sum.

O is not going to be crying.

Who will be over paid next?

If he takes another job I suspect his pay out from LSU will be reduced.

He may be tired of begging 17 year olds to play for him?

They came to a Agreement? Sound like it was Full compensation , I expected better negotiations from LSU with all the Follies on the table by Orgeron

17 mil to say thanks for 2019. No ugly litigation, no airing our O’s dirty laundry and Ultimately O will be remembered fondly

It is not taxpayers money
The athletic department is a net credit to the university not a debit

Why can’t people get this through their mind
