Judging by the tone of #LSU practice Tuesday afternoon, I would say celebrating the Auburn victory is over.

A certain #LSU receiver dropped a long pass from Joe Burrow at practice Tuesday afternoon. A certain assistant coach was not pleased. "Lazy a-- hands! I bet if CBS was here, you would've caught it!"

Auburn is over. #LSU back to work Tuesday afternoon on the practice field. @WAFB

Not trying to be TigerRee, but sounds like the coaching staff is doing a good job of not allowing the team to get too high.

frick yeah. Can’t help but be impressed by the culture they’re building. God I love when LSU is winning.

Good. I don’t expect a letdown, but I do expect Tech to come in thinking they can win. It’s on the coaches to have the team ready to put a stop to it. I think they will.

I honestly think O wants to stick it to Tech for old Time's sake.

I believe the coaching staff was upset with how LSU looked in the Southeastern game. Tech is better than Southeastern so O isn't taking any chances.

I really think Offense is only beginning to gain its traction. Pressure is off now, Tiger nation is in on Burrow. He showed he can handle any stage with poise.

Already seeing WRs actually make athletic plays after making the catch. How long did we go just being happy if there was a completed forward pass? WRs will start having fun and trying to out do eachother.

There is a lot of dynamics that go into an offense really clicking. Having this clutch come through for the offense this early in season is going to pay off big time if they keep their nose to the grind. And so far I think this group is doing that. Im pumped for watching the team this play this year.

Lou Holtz picked Tech to win. He also said his wife would be pissed if he picked against his son lol.

Don't expect to see anything drastically new... coaches won't expose new plays for upcoming games

Then what about just working on what has been exposed already, and perfecting it? That might be a productive exercise.

Burrow said they will not let off the gas against LaTech.

I liked hearing that from him.

We could shut this team out 50-0 but if Burrow doesn’t have a 50% PC game and at least 250 in the stats negas will be “letdown.”

I hope we run the same offense as we did vs Auburn, and not the SLU offense. Thats obviously our offense going forward, so we need to work on it, and timing.

taking nothing away from SLU,but hopefully the Auburn game showed what they can do this year. No reason to have slopped around like they did with SE. Offense still needs some work so hopefully they'll step up vs La Tech

This is a classic trap game. Tech is a good football team, they always play SEC teams tough. Ask Arkansas, South Carolina. Bama will not play them anymore. Tech beat Bama the last two times they played.

That's exactly what I'm hoping to see.

Lou Holtz also told his Son he hopes our contract to pay La Tech for the game also includes a stipend for hospital bills. So he actually knows whatsup.
