They are out of the playoffs. Period.
Finish the damn job.
Kiffin and LSU need to be the bigger men here and stop being petty.
Don’t care about new contract obligations with LSU, there needs to be a resolution that allows the coaches to finish the job.
This Dog eat Dog in college Football is not becoming of Sportsmanship and ruining the game entirely.

Disagree. Your beef should be with the retarded calendar college football operates under. These coaches are needed here to help build our team through the portal for next season. No one forced them to leave OM to come here.

Completely disagree. If Ole Miss was playing nice it’d be a different story. If they want to play that game though we need to pull everyone under contract with us immediately

As an LSU fan, why would I want my assistant coaches not working the 2 week transfer portal for my team? It’s essentially the most important 2 weeks of building your program for success next season.

Then we should have pulled the coaches immediately, not two games into the playoffs waiting for them to lose only to see them win and then pull them.

This should be and likely will be a great learning lesson.
Future coaches won’t and shouldn’t allow this one-half in, one-half out mess.
You accept a new job, you and your assistants following you, need to solely coach and be present for said new job.

Many on this board have long thought you were a troll. This post doesn't help. Signs point to an Ole Miss fan.
Exactly what makes you think Lane and LSU are being petty? These guys are under contract with LSU. Yet, our administration has allowed them to continue coaching their old team thus far. They didn't have to allow that. And they didn't do it for Ole Miss. They did it as a gesture to those coaches. But now Ole Miss is threatening tampering charges. If Ole Miss felt there was tampering, they've had every opportunity to nip that by simply telling the coach or coaches in question to just leave. Meanwhile, they hired our interim HC, who is now on their campus...as is one of our WR. So who was tampering?

So with next year’s brutal schedule, if Kiffen is not able to secure the players needed to compete next season because half his staff has been loaned to their previous employer…will u be “understanding in 2026”???

No one, including their AD, expected them to beat Georgia. LSU and Lane had no problem with them pulling double duty. Then Ole Miss started pulling this shite and letting former LSU coaches be on the sideline too. If they want to have them on the sideline then let them coach.
Bonnette needs to come out with a statement and be done with it. Ole Miss set this precedent in motion, not LSU.
