Being 1-8 in SEC on Easter Sunday might just do the trick

Nolan did one hell of a job. Not Paul.

You seem really confident about a guess. You may very well be correct, but my guess is just the opposite.

LSU 100% has the MLB guys to donate the buyout, much less other donors. I personally believe that Paul has completely lost all self-awareness. When he talks to a confidante after the season, he will realize the hole he is in. He will then “retire”.

As far as a potential new coach...Woody is good at over paying. He will get a splash hire.

FTR, I am not terribly confident in my guesswork!! Just a hope and a prayer at this point.

Would rather a 5'5" inf that can barely hit ball out of infield than a MLB prospect playing the position

Bregman is 5'9" on a good day

Altuve is 5'1" when his hair sticks up

Who specifically do you think will be willing to give LSU money to fire a coach?

first of all i told you that i was guessing.

secondly, i am not going to list names. but i can tell you that alumni associations are full of people that will help. then include ex LSU players. then add wealthy ex baseball players that live in BR and are supporters of the team.

i swam for LSU and I will tell you that the biggest supporter of our team was a wealthy guy that swam for Tulane but happened to live in BR.

all i am saying is that if LSU wanted to buy out paul, they would buy him out without touching current LSU bank accounts.

All those MLB guys you're referencing ... played for Paul. Gonna go ahead and guess they're not going to be the driving force that pushes out their old coach.

Only way he could possibly be fired is if LSU doesn’t win another game the rest of the season

What have you seen lately that suggests there's no way that happens? I'll be shocked if Vandy doesn't skulldrag LSU this weekend.

We are nowhere near the standard we should be right now, but you think we could go winless through the rest of the season?

It is possible we could take the series from Vanderbilt. I don’t expect we will though. But the cliche stands. “That’s baseball”. Crazier shot has happened.

100% agree and this is the sin that gets your fired at LSU. Either that or embarrassing the university.

We need flashcards in LF stands like the football teams use to call plays. Something legible from the dugout so size matters that have symbols for bunt, steal, pull the pitcher, squeeze, hit/run, etc and give Paul a wristband.
Whoever sits in LF can operate the cards.

We might win a few midweek games, but there really is not much reason for optimism. At this point, the only team we would be favored to beat is Auburn. After Vandy boat races us this weekend, that may not be the case any more.

I honestly hope I am wrong, but I have seen very little that gives me hope PM can turn this team around.

i don’t think he meant only current MLB guys.

meaning we’ve had a few pass through here before paul.
played for a feller they called Skip.

Serious question - What is his area of expertise as a baseball coach?
