I think he is a great guy but time has come for him to move on and get some fresh excitement not some stone face that isn't coaching and mentioned. There are not enough coaches in baseball for the head coach not to be coaching something. We really need a hitting coach. Yea yea, home runs are great but we need clutch hitting and that means contact getting singles and doubles too.

Yes, there is a chance he could be asked to retire & LSU try to negotiate his buy out down but the entire athletic dept is a shite show right now
I doubt there are enough big baseball donors willing to dump a bunch of cash to get rid of him
