This is not bash Nuss thread, I’m legitimately concerned.

1. His QB play from last year to this one is just absurdly worse
2. His blank stare on the sideline as Frank was yelling at him
3. His decision making in general

I said it last night: he looked stoned on the sidelines. Eyes didn’t look quite right, kind of glazed.

No, he thought he didn’t have to work hard to improve over last year which led to regression because other teams improved.

His footwork and body look like he spent the offseason drinking coors light and eating canes.

Combine that with this O line and it is a disaster.

He’s out of shape, and it’s clear that he didn’t put in the work during the offseason.

He and I both have those two things in common but I’m a 37yr with a toddler and a desk job making less in a year than he does in a game.

It’s honestly impressive how someone can regress so much.

He got every bit as worse from year 1-2 as a starter as Daniels and Burrow got better

I think he's hurt, doesn't have his "fastball"/ trust his passing mechanics, and is trying play through it to the detriment of all involved.

He's always made some bonehead decisions, but in years past there was generally a TD or 2 and a few nice plays in the passing game to offset it. That's not there this year and well...

He's mentally broken and shouldn't play again for LSU. His chronic backing up on any drop back, running in to sacks and inability to step up in to a clean pocket, coupled with his complete failure to make correct reads should relegate hm to clipboard duty for the rest of the season.

Yep, just another example of why NIL is ruining college ball. We will see many more athletes not play to their potential. Why work your arse off for a hope to get to the League when you're already a millionaire at 19?

Let's not forget, California started this travesty.

this is how he looked in that 3 game losing stretch

he sucks and now he doesn’t have an elite OL to sit behind before he makes bad throws.

It's not the QB

Both looked bad because this team don't play like a team. WRs ran bad routes regardless of which guy was in the game

It's systemic and too late to fix

I think he's shell shocked and not dealing with failure well after so much personal success in the sport. It's a hard aspect of life and sports in general. Adversity can hit a person like a train and let's be honest, does anyone think he saw this disaster of a performance and season coming? It's not easy to deal with the reality of not being as good as you thought you were at something you love and get paid for doing.

I hope he and the players can somehow pull it together for next week.

He's brought some of this on himself. Sometimes, you have to step up into the pocket and take what they give you.

He has never done this.

Receivers have dropped balls and, he has missed open receivers.

The OL never improved and neither has the coaching. False starts should get you the pine, everytime.

Baker needs to be retained.

I honestly think he bought into his hype in the offseason and didnt prepare like burrow or JD did when they made their leap into greatness. He comes off as entitled to me, more than happy to accept all the pre season accolades, but not willing to put in the grind to make it happen.

More like shell shocked….

That sieve O-line would make any seasoned QB appear the way…
