At 6'5" 355 lbs Trindon was the fastest left tackle I've ever seen. Maybe you were thinking of him?

White changed positions because he was down the depth chart and there was a huge need at linebacker. LSU has linebackers and Jackson will likely be RB1 going forward. Apples and oranges.
