Does Johnson run off good pitching coaches?

AZ fans are saying Yeskie was gone regardless because Johnson micromanages pitching. Thoughts?

Rather have a coach that actually coaches than a Pau…well you know the rest
Look…one of the rant’s biggest problems with CPM was that he didn’t actually coach hitting or pitching. I think it’s time for a change to a head coach that’s more hands on.
Who knows if that rumor from OP is actually true, but Yeskie was highly thought of at Arizona so Johnson must’ve been doing something right.

Thank you to the OP for bringing the info. If CJJ was too hands on, hope he learns from it. But too hands-on can be good when you are learning when to pull a guy.

I remember hearing Michigan State fans sharing similar words of caution about their outgoing football coach 21 years ago.
