It happens alot up here in big 12 country, Kansas in particular, but all I have to say is its easy to hate on a school your own school is afraid to play

Ya know I wear an LSU shirt probaly 4 days out of the week in Lafayette..Ive never ever had anybody ever tell me squat..I respect both UL and LSU.I guess since I dont shove up peoples throat or anything

Well I grew up in Lafayette and always pulled for the Ragin Cajuns unless they were playing LSU. I do know many ULL fans who are simply jealous of the Big Brother in BR.
No reason for that in my opinion as no other LA school comes close to LSU. Pull for both and enjoy the wins.
On a national level our family always pulled for LSU as they were really the only team doing anything on a consistent basis. Also, before the advent of computers and games on a gazillion TV stations LSU was basically the only school ever on TV.
ULL fans need to get over it.

Guy: I hate LSU.
Me: Who do you pull for?
Guy: A&M. LSU sucks.
Me: That's interesting because this morning I took an A&M and wiped my A&M with some A&M.

I hear it all the time here in Arkansas. The old fans may hate Texas but LSU is far more hated than any other schools. From the talk show hosts to the checkout girl at Kroger. If I wear an LSU shirt to town I'll hear something at least once. 99% of the time in a light hearted way but its there.
